I recently completed an installation of a PA system in a new bar space at Hackney Bridge. The client plans to use the space for a range of events and will have DJs playing there until 1am at weekends.
The space is split into two areas that can be separated with a roll down shutter. The loudspeakers in the smaller space at the far end of the DJ are fed from a separate zone with it’s own separate input for times when the space is split into two.
For the main bar area I used a pair of Nexo PS10s on brackets bolted to some vertical steel beams and a single Nexo LS500 sub for low end. These are all powered by a Nexo PS10 amplifier which has internal processing specific to these loudspeakers.
This PA is complimented with ceiling mounted d&b e3s to provide fill for even coverage at lower sound levels. These are powered by a d&b ePac V3. The smaller space also has ceiling mounted d&b e3s powered by d&b ePac V3.
Control is provided by an ART MX255 zone mixer. This unit is balanced and allows individual level control of either input for each of the zones.
